Buy Low Price From Here Now Pyle Pro's PCA1 amplifier was designed with today's music lover in mind. The PCA1's smart, compact design fits neatly on top of a computer tower or next to your laptop to power personal audio speakers. MP3 player or iPod headphone outputs may also be used as an amplifier source with the use of a 3.5 mm stereo plug to dual RCA jack adapter. DEFINITELY I RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT TO THOSE LOOK FOR A SMALL AUDIO AMP FOR YOUR PC, OR REINFORCE ONE CHANNEL OF YOUR EXISTING SYSTEM.

"Perfect" 2009-12-08

We recently bought a Sanyo R227 WiFi Internet Radio (Black) but couldn't get it to work with our passive speakers - no sound. After a little research we learned an amp was required to power them, so we came out to Amazon to see what others were buying. The Pyle Home PCA1 15-watt amp seemed perfect for our needs based on reviews. Within 15 minutes of receiving it my husband had the speakers hooked up. The only thing he had to do because of the radio's design was to use a 3.5mm Stereo Plug To Dual RCA Jack Adapter to connect the amp to the radio's output port.
As others have mentioned, this powerful little amp is well-constructed for the price. It's so compact it sits on top of our internet radio with room to spare. It easily powers our old ca 80s stereo speakers, and although there are only two controls (on/off & volume) the sound quality is rich and very satisfying. We haven't noticed any distortion; it's plenty loud enough without having to turn the volume all the way up.
We're extremely happy with our purchase and highly recommend the Pyle Home PCA1 15-watt amp.

I took a chance - thinking that you only get what you pay for.
After using this product, I would have paid four times the amount.
Well worth the money. I use it in my home sound studio and it works like a champ.

"Performs far better than expected" 2009-12-03
By S. Mathews (West Virginia)
This little amplifier far exceeds my expectations. I bought it to power an old pair of Realistic Minimus 77 8-ohm bookshelf speakers. I hooked up a CD player and turned it on. What a revelation! The sound is clear, rich, and sharp. Up as far as 1/2 volume, all I need in my bedroom, I don't hear any distortion. The bass and treble response seem to be even across different volume settings, despite the lack of tone controls. I love that the interface is so honest and simple--just an on-off switch and a volume control, an actual knob instead of buttons. And the volume control isn't disguised for the sake of aesthetics as on most modern equipment. The sound quality noticeably exceeds both my Bose Wave Radio and my Tivoli Model 2. The key is probably connecting a decent pair of speakers to it. Highly recommended!
"A very nice, basic amp that does what I need." 2009-12-01

I'm using this amp to drive a pair of Polk M10s on my desk. For that purpose it works wonderfully. 15 watts/channel will get extremely loud, and I normally use it at around 1/3rd volume. My audio sources are my PC and my PS3. I like that this amp is small and simple. Highly recommended.
